‘In the Name of Emergency,’ COVID Red Flags Continue to Fly

As the COVID-19 pandemic slowly recedes into the background, the severity of symptoms and outcomes lighten, and immunity against the virus strengthens—the red flag of emergency continues to fly.

On Jan. 11, 2022, the Biden administration extended the public health emergency declaration by yet another 90 days, pinning Americans under the COVID emergency declaration for nearly three years.

At the state level, ten continue to maintain orders of emergency mandates for COVID-19.

Many health experts are concerned about how the seemingly endless prolonging of living in a state of fear will affect the well-being of the population.

“You don’t want the population always thinking they’re in an emergency,” said infectious disease expert and former medical officer at the World Health Organization, Dr. David Bell.

Government Overreach

The Death of the Uniparty in Congress.

The mid-term elections took place this past November 8th, and for most of 2022 leading up to that election, all we heard about was this big “red wave” that was coming. The talking heads (on both sides of the aisle) were pretty much all clamoring (some with smiles, some with frowns) about the growing discontent of the American people with the one-party-rule in Washington DC, where the Democrats have had a majority in the House of Representatives, in the US Senate, and in the White House, and how the November 8th election was going to result in the Republicans winning back both Houses of Congress, dozens of state legislatures and governorships, and so on. One-party-rule is never a good thing for the citizenry, no matter which party is in power. This time it is the Dems that have had totally unfettered power. As such, we saw so many voters, including life-long Dems, vowing to vote Republican because they could no longer stand the Democrats’ majority reign that was causing record-high inflation, rising interest rates, a wide-open southern border, an explosion in crime, a myriad of draconian COVID19 mandates, the relentless attacks on parental rights, and more. This was it! The Dems had their chance to be in total control and do some “good”, but all they did was wreak havoc on the lives and livelihoods of the American people, and put us in such crushing debt, it’s unlikely our children or grandchildren can dig their way out of it.

Substack: Warning: The Government Wants to Control EVERYTHING

So, raise your hand if you are psyched about the government monitoring, no, actually, it’d be controlling, your private conversations and decisions that you engage in with your doctors about your health. Anybody? No? You may be thinking to yourself, “C’mon Bobbie Anne, that’s just absurd. The government would never bud into the intimate conversations of the doctor/patient relationship. Conspiracy theory!”

Well, believe it or not, there is a new law in California that does just that! Assembly Bill 2098 (aka AB-2098) has been dubbed the “COVID19 misinformation law”. It is an abolition of freedom of speech, and according to epidemiologist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford University, it is “a chilling interference with the practice of medicine.” Before I explain what this stunning display of authoritarianism allows the government to do, let me remind you that no matter which state you currently call home, what happens in other states (particularly California and New York), matters to the rest of the country to a large extent, because laws/regulations/trends set in those states almost always spread across the nation.

After I won my landmark “quarantine camp” lawsuit against Governor Hochul and her Department of Health a few months ago, people from around the globe started reaching out to me. Some wanted to simply send congratulations on a job well done, and thank me for giving them hope that this tyranny that somehow magically took hold contemporanously in countries around the world, could be defeated. But many others wanted more than that. They wanted actual help. They wanted to know how they could fight back against the intense tyranny in their countries. So, I started doing interviews and presentations to groups based in the UK, South Africa, Canada, and Australia. I shared with them my legal theory behind my case, the separation of powers argument, and all about my courageous plaintiffs (Senator George Borrello, Assemblyman Chris Tague, Assemblyman [now Congressman] Mike Lawler, and a citizens’ group called Uniting NYS). I told them about the other wonderful group of NYS Legislators that supported us with an Amicus Brief (Assemblymen Andy Goodell, Will Barclay and Joseph Giglio), and the battles that we fought and won along the way, as the Attorney General tried tactic after tactic to stall, derail and destroy our case. I shared all that I could with them in the hopes that it would assist them in their countries, as they pushed back against their government abuses.

NTD: Biden Administration’s Selective Deportation Policy That States Say Endangers Communities Is Challenged in Supreme Court

Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox was interviewed on NTD News to give her legal opinion on this current immigration law case that is now before the United States Supreme Court.

Two states challenging the Biden administration’s decision last year to focus its deportation efforts on individuals deemed to be a threat to public safety urged the Supreme Court during oral arguments on Nov. 29 not to restore the policy.

The states take the position that the federal government is illegally refusing to enforce the nation’s immigration laws by prioritizing only certain enforcement categories at the expense of others. They say that the federal Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) requires that specific criminal aliens, such as aggravated felons, have to be detained upon release from criminal custody pending a decision on whether to remove them from the country. The law also requires that aliens subject to final orders of removal must be detained pending their removal.

But instead of adhering to the INA’s mandates, the Biden administration said in a memorandum that it would embark on case-by-case determinations instead, which the states say leaves the door open for violent criminals to return to the nation’s streets.

Constitutional Education: New York Attorney Bobbie Anne Cox Says it is Imperative

How important is it that we, as citizens, comprehend what a constitutional government is, since it is what governs our country and people? Bobbie Anne Cox says it is vitally important and for good reasons. Ms. Cox knows how fragile we the people are when we do not know our rights in the way we are governed, especially today.

Ms. Cox is an attorney who put aside her own individual interests to fight for the good people of New York State. And won. She essentially stopped a piece of unconstitutional garbage that has no place in a free society governed by a constitution in a constitutional republic. The fact that the garbage idea came from the Governor of New York State is exactly why Ms. Cox says we need to teach the constitution and the rights given thereof in all schools to all children. The abuse of government overreach is natural in government, and it is the people’s responsibility to take control over the government when they do overstep their duty. The constitutional government is built for the people and is perverted when it reverses its mandate and tries to rule the people outside of its limitations. The limitations of government are there for the exact reason – for the people to be able to resist this natural aspect of government.

In what she has called a David versus Goliath battle, New York real estate lawyer Bobbie Anne Cox sued New York Gov. Kathleen Hochul for issuing directives mandating quarantine for people exposed to or infected with highly contagious diseases such as COVID-19. The directives, dubbed “quarantine camp regulations,” have been compared to laws that relocated people of Japanese descent during World War II without due process. Cox won the lawsuit on the grounds that Hochul’s regulation was unconstitutional.

In a recent interview on Epoch TV’s American Thought Leaders, Cox told host Jan Jekielek that it’s crucial that Americans learn about the Constitution so that they can prevent similar acts by state and federal governments.

“The constitution is not perfect, but it’s brilliant,” Cox said.
