In the interview, Attorney Cox and Wai Wah give details on what this amendment would do to parental rights, children, women/girls’ sports, how it will allow illegals rights as citizens and more.  Attorney Cox explains that the “Democrats have a very weak argument”.  She says “it is a form of gaslighting” when they claim the proposal is all about protecting women’s rights to abortion.  According to Attorney Cox, “the word abortion is not in the amendment.”  She said, “if it was about abortion why didn’t they add it to the language of the amendment?”  She also points out that NY already has very strong laws (for about 50 years) that protect women’s rights to abortion. Attorney Cox said putting abortion in the state constitution is completely unnecessary because the laws are set and there is no chance the abortion laws will be reversed. “It is a smokescreen and not the true reason they are pushing this amendment. What Democrats are really doing will cause a reversal of women’s rights.”

If Prop 1 passes, both Attorney Cox and Wai Wah claim the result will be a total breakdown of the family which is one of the goals of the Democrats in NYS.  It is so important that every New Yorker educates themselves about Prop 1. The best way to do that is to watch the interview HERE.

The New York Supreme Court on Nov. 17 dismissed a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the isolation and quarantine procedures the state established during the COVID-19 pandemic, saying the Republican lawmakers and the advocacy group that brought the case lacked standing to sue.

The suit was originally filed in April 2022 against Gov. Kathy Hochul and her administration by a coalition of Uniting NYS and three Republicans: state Sen. George Borrello, Assemblyman Chris Tague, and Assemblyman Michael Lawler, who is now a member of the U.S. Congress.

The coalition challenges what’s known as Rule 2.13, a set of regulations that gives state and local health authorities the power to place New Yorkers merely suspected of having an infectious disease such as COVID under mandatory isolation or quarantine.

Olean Times Herald reported that “Borrello, the lead plaintiff in the case, had challenged Section 2.3 of the state’s Public health Law, which would have allowed state health officials to order people suspected of having a communicable disease such as COVID-19 could be placed in temporary housing — which saw claims on social media indicating the state had the authority to and may have planned to create “quarantine camps” during the pandemic.”
