There’s a new regulation on the books in New York State. If you haven’t heard about it, you should, because New Yorker or not – this could set a precedent nationwide.

It allows the state to use its law enforcement to quarantine anybody it believes to be possibly sick with any contagious disease and remove them from their home. This goes for a New Yorker of any age for an undefined amount of time, so this could apply to children or the elderly.

“For the purposes of quarantine orders, quarantine locations may include home quarantine, other residential or temporary housing quarantine, or quarantine at such other locations as the public health authority issuing the order deems appropriate, consistent with any direction that the State Commissioner of Health may issue,” it reads.

Bobbie Anne Cox is an experienced attorney in New York taking on Gov. Kathy Hochul and the state’s Department of Health. She believes this quietly-passed legislation is tyrannical and Anti-American for numerous reasons.

The Governor and DOH must answer the lawsuit by Friday, May 6.
